An S.O.S Post!!!!....Help Please!!!

As you may or may not know , I am a graduate in Textile Design from Chelsea School of Art..although it was several years ago.I am now trying to get back into this line of work where things have changed ALOT!! I have been using Photoshop , but been advised that the way to go is Illustrator so after a 30 day trial I have discovered this is definitely the best programme for my work. So I managed to get myself an older version of Adobe Creative Suite only to find it wont b*****y work!!! I am at my wits end as I have lots of designs here on paper done the 'old school ' way but now have no way of taking them further. Can any of my small amount of followers suggest a more affordable way of getting a newish copy of Illustrator that isn't dodgy please?

I appreciate any advice...I know I could just go out and buy a brand new copy of it from Adobe, but would rather do this when I am actually making money from my work.

  1. Apparently you can rent Illustrator now from Adobe on a monthly basis which means you get the up to date version (if your Mac is new enough) which might help while you are starting out : ) Good luck x
