Back to Reality from the Beautiful Dorset Coast

We have just returned from gorgeous Eype, right near Lyme Regis. Who needs to go abroad when you can have amazing weather, and gorgeous surroundings right here on your doorstep. We took off on our travels with our caravan on the back, laden down with all our essentials and big smiles on our faces leaving boring old reality behind us. There is so much to do down there, we really could have spent much longer there exploring more of the breathtaking Jurassic Coast, so a return visit is definitely going to be planned.

My little girls have come back home like they've been to Disney..they went crabbing, had ice creams, fish and chips in the harbour, went to a carnival, firework display and a fair as well as spent days on the beach and exploring the countryside. It just goes to show you don't need to spend a fortune to keep your children happy in the summer , just a  few traditional holiday activities.

And to keep me happy..... I found lots of vintage collectibles which I will show you all in my next post. It was all there in abundance especially in a little town called  Bridport where they have a vintage market every Saturday and loads of house clearance style shops up all the back streets ( Kirstie Allsop would have been in her element!)

Coming home is the hardest part, the washing machine was chugging away for a long time, but the caravan is all clean and ready for the next adventure.

Below are some photos of the beautiful Jurassic Coast , including the Broadchurch beach, but luckily there was no body on it this time!
